Andrei Rață, known as Andrew Rayel or Rayel, is a Moldavian DJ with a two-decade passion for trance music. Growing up in Eastern Europe, he listened to Armin van Buuren, ATB and Tiesto, experiences that captivated him. He attended music school and began composing melodic trance that has moved millions of largely young listeners at international festivals such as the Electric Daisy Carnival in Tokyo. Rayel's melodic, emotive sets have become festival highlights. An intimate performance at Pure Nightclub, a roughly 600-capacity venue in Sunnyvale, offers a close PLUR-style experience on Fri, Dec 26 at 10pm for $25.
