Poppy Shares New Details on Upcoming Album, Unveils Single "Guardian"
"Poppy has unleashed the new single "Guardian," while also revealing the tracklist to her previously announced upcoming album Empty Hands, set for release January 23rd via Sumerian Records. The new song finds Poppy delivering melodic clean vocals over an industrial-metal guitar riff, making for a more radio-friendly sound than some of her extreme offerings, including the heavy recent single "Bruised Sky.""
"Among the tunes is "Unravel," which was released as a stand-alone single in October, prior to the announcement of the LP. Poppy already has a jam-packed itinerary for 2026, with headlining Australian and UK/European tours set for the early part of the year, as well as a support stint on Evanescence's UK/European tour beginning in September ( pick up tickets here). Thus far, her only scheduled US date is an appearance at Florida's Welcome to Rockville festival in May."
