Perry 'Teddy' Bamonte died at home after a short illness. He joined The Cure's roadcrew in 1984, became a full member in 1990, and played guitar, six‑string bass and keyboards on Wish (1992), Wild Mood Swings (1996), Bloodflowers (2000), Acoustic Hits (2001) and The Cure (2004). He performed over 400 shows across 14 years, re-joined in 2022 for about 90 more shows culminating in The Show Of A Lost World concert on 1 November 2024. He featured on hits like Friday I'm In Love and live albums Paris and Show (1993). He played bass in Love Amongst Ruin, illustrated for Fly Culture, enjoyed fly fishing, and his brother Daryl Bamonte is a music tour manager.
