Perfume Genius Announces 2026 "Duo Tour," Releases New Video for "Me & Angel"
""Alan was the first person I ever sang in front of," said Perfume Genius in a statement. "We've played every single show together for 15 years. When we started, it was just him and I, perched on our keyboards at the front of the stage. I miss a lot of those older songs and how intense they could be with just the two of us. We're excited to go back there. We want to sing stripped-down versions of newer songs as well and write some new music altogether to play as a duo.""
"Tickets for Perfume Genius' 2026 "Duo Tour" will go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 21st, at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster and his official website. Fans can get early access through an artist pre-sale (sign up here) beginning Wednesday, November 19th, at 10:00 a.m. local time."
"The clip depicts the singer crooning the emotional tune from what appears to be mid-air, only to reveal in the final moments that he is actually perched atop a man's shoulders, enjoying the ride."
Perfume Genius will launch a brief North American "Duo Tour" beginning January 22, 2026 at Lincoln Hall in Chicago. The tour resumes March 31 at the Lincoln Theatre in Washington, DC after a two-month break and includes stops in Philadelphia, New York, Toronto, and Boston before concluding April 9 at the Center for the Arts in Homer, New York. General public tickets go on sale November 21 at 10:00 a.m. local time with an artist pre-sale starting November 19 at 10:00 a.m. The tour title references longtime partner and collaborator Allan Wyffels, and performances will feature stripped-down duo arrangements and new material. A new video for "Me & Angel" depicts a mid-air illusion that ends with the singer perched atop a man's shoulders. Glory received a 2026 Grammy nomination for Best Album Cover, and Perfume Genius will finish 2025 with Australian dates.
