Pearl Jam previewed Dark Matter with a 'global theatrical experience' in over 500 theaters worldwide, presenting two versions of the album in a dark theater with added visuals, along with offering various vinyl variants.
Dark Matter was accompanied by singles 'Running' and 'Wreckage,' part of the 11-track album recorded at Shangri-La Studios in Malibu. Watt's production style, described as natural and impactful, contributed to the band's burst of inspiration.
