Hayley Williams confirmed Paramore are not breaking up but are taking extended breaks between albums to process personal and creative experiences. Paramore has consistently waited four or more years between albums since Brand New Eyes, and the band has faced lineup turbulence over its twenty-year career. The current core lineup of Williams, Taylor York, and Zac Farro has persisted through the last two album cycles while Williams and Farro build solo careers. Williams praised Zac, Taylor, and the Parafour touring musicians, and released her third solo album, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, independently after leaving Atlantic Records.
