The Finnish avant auteurs create an open-ended swirl of black metal psychedelia on their latest track, clash instruments and vocals to craft a stark, uncomfortable ambience. Their unique talent unveils different layers amidst industrial-like distortion.
"Our experimentation with samplers and electronics made us step towards the weird concept of making nightmarish Rave music," stated guitarist Ikon. They aimed to blend danceable rhythms with oppressive waves of noise in 'Muuntautuja'.
Oranssi Pazuzu drew inspiration for 'Muuntautuja' from Beherit, My Bloody Valentine, and electronic/industrial acts like Death Grips and Nine Inch Nails. They'll tour Europe with Solstafir and pre-orders for vinyl/CD are live.
