Old-time music will sound out in Berkeley this week as annual festival returns
Briefly

The Berkeley Old Time Music Convention, running Sept. 18-22, is dedicated to community engagement through old-time music, featuring performances, workshops, and participatory dances.
The festival showcases leading artists across various styles, creating a space where friends and neighbors can gather, learn, and enjoy the age-old pleasures of music together.
Headlining the convention is Maria Muldaur, an icon from the 1960s folk scene, who brings a wealth of talent and history to the BOTMC.
With jam sessions, dance workshops, and live performances, the BOTMC not only entertains but also enriches the local community's love for traditional music.
