NOWHERE2RUN (Code Orange Members) Announce New EP, Unleash Single "Motives"
"NOWHERE2RUN, a techno-industrial duo comprised of Code Orange members Jami Morgan and Eric "Shade" Balderose, have announced a new EP titled What Did You Do?, set for release on October 31st. A video for the new single "Motives" can be seen below. "Motives" calls to mind classic industrial acts like Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, and Nine Inch Nails, the latter of whom Morgan once told Heavy Consequence is his "favorite band of all time.""
"NOWHERE2RUN had previously released the EP Slivering the Senses in 2024 under a veil of mystery. Speaking about the upcoming EP, Morgan stated, "It felt like the right time to lower the mask and reveal a little bit of NOWHERE2RUN'S identity as artists. We constructed this project through the lens of a mystery, something very dark and tech noir ish. It feels like an appropriate way to start to tell the story of where we are at and where we have been.""
"In support of the EP, NOWHERE2RUN will embark on a limited fall US tour, with the band referring to the shows as immersive "BLOODRAVE" parties. The outing kicks off October 24th in Atlanta, and runs through a December 12th gig in Amityville, New York, with tickets available here. What Did You Do? Tracklist: 01. Motives 02. Last Days (Feat. Lecx Stacy) 03. Don't Turn Around 04. Little Prince (Feat. H09909, Kamiyada) 05. Home Addresses (Feat. Backxwash, Sadistik, Erex) 06. What Did You Do?"
NOWHERE2RUN, formed by Code Orange members Jami Morgan and Eric "Shade" Balderose, will release a five-song EP titled What Did You Do? on October 31. The single "Motives" evokes classic industrial influences such as Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, and Nine Inch Nails. The EP features guest appearances from H09909, Kamiyada, Backxwash, Lecx Stacy, Sadistik, and Erex. NOWHERE2RUN will support the release with a limited fall US tour of immersive "BLOODRAVE" parties beginning October 24 in Atlanta and extending into December. The project continues the mysterious, tech-noir aesthetic after 2024's Slivering the Senses.
