Metallica has announced a residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas called 'Life Burns Faster,' consisting of eight shows across four weekends in October 2024. The performances will take place on October 1, 3, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, and 31. Following the No Repeat Weekend tradition established during their M72 World Tour, the band will not repeat any songs between Thursday and Saturday shows within each weekend. Lars Ulrich expressed enthusiasm about utilizing the Sphere's immersive technology to reinvent fan interaction. Tickets go on sale March 6, with options for two-night packages and single-night purchases. The residency will showcase live staples and surprises from Metallica's catalog enhanced by the venue's advanced LED display and immersive technologies.
