Meghan Trainor and husband Daryl Sabara welcomed their third child, a daughter named Mikey Moon Trainor, via surrogate on Jan. 18. The couple expressed gratitude to their "incredible, superwoman surrogate" and to the doctors, nurses and teams who helped make the birth possible, noting surrogacy was the safest way for them to continue growing their family. Mikey joins older brothers Riley and Barry, who chose her middle name. The family’s love of astronomy influenced the planetary nickname and connects to Trainor’s songs that reference loving someone "to the moon and back." Riley often expresses imaginative, space-themed declarations of love. Trainor wants four children and has been open about motherhood challenges, including experiences with post-trauma.
