Adams emphasized that having previously worked together not only alleviated nerves during the audition, but also created a natural chemistry between the two. He said, "And so I think just knowing each other and getting to calm down and not have those nerves of just getting to know one another really helped that chemistry read, and it was just clear that we had an easygoing thing when we went into that room."
