Another day, another DMV crank song that'll charge you up better than a few cans of C4. This time it's by HavinMotion, who's been ripping some of the most doomy sample flips on the East Coast-everything from Beach House to Kanye has been reinterpreted through the apocalyptic regional sound. On "Nobody Knows," his hurtling slick talk slides on top of the cataclysmic, sputtering drums and bells that collide with pitched-down Giveon vocals. It creates an atmosphere that is both eerie and hectic, the DMV crank sweet spot.
