Linkin Park has a new singer and a new album on the way
Briefly

In a statement, the four surviving founders, called their band Xero before Bennington joined and they renamed it Linkin Park, stated that they'd started hanging out in recent years to reconnect with the creativity and camaraderie of their earliest days. The upcoming album 'From Zero' is a return to their roots and a celebration of their journey as a band, reflecting their growth both sonically and emotionally.
Shinoda elaborated on the album title, 'From Zero,' saying, 'It refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we're currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present and future - embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life. It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family and our fans.'
Linkin Park's long-awaited return will include a new studio album, 'From Zero,' set for release on Nov. 15, which is their first since the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington. The LP's lead single, 'The Emptiness Machine,' was released along with the announcement, marking an essential step in the band's revival and exploration of new creative avenues.
