Armstrong, who has the daunting task of filling the shoes of the late Chester Bennington, joins original members along with new drummer Colin Brittain.
The new album, titled From Zero, arrives November 15th, and features 11 songs. The band is celebrating the announcement with a livestream performance.
Mike Shinoda stated, "Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we're currently undertaking."
