"According to singer and guitarist Caleb Followill during an interview with the Kyle Meredith With... podcast, the full-length was inspired by Julia Cameron's book The Artist's Way, as well of the music of post-punk acts like IDLES and Fontaines D.C. The band also recently revealed that they'll be ending the year with a two-night residency in Las Vegas. "Kings of Leon: Live in Las Vegas" will take place on December 30th and 31st, 2025,"
Kings of Leon surprise-released EP #2, a four-track set and the band's first EP in more than two decades. The project is the group's first independent release on Love Tap Records, distributed by Virgin Music, and contains the band's first self-produced recordings. EP #2 follows recent collaborations with Zach Bryan on "We're Onto Something" and "Bowery," which were debuted during summer stadium shows. The EP follows the 2024 album Can We Please Have Fun, which drew inspiration from Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way and post-punk bands like IDLES and Fontaines D.C.
