'A Good Time Pushed' feels more stylistically and tonally akin to Deal's work with The Breeders or Pixies, boasting a catchy slacker rock vibe and contributions from band members.
The album Nobody Loves You More is engineered by Steve Albini, a longtime collaborator and friend of Deal, who passed away earlier this year.
Other notable contributors include past Breeders members Mando Lopez and Britt Walford, and musicians from bands like Raconteurs and Savages.
