Kenny Chesney, James Taylor, and Mac McAnally inducted Jimmy Buffett into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and performed "Come Monday." Mac McAnally carried a small urn containing Jimmy Buffett's ashes in his coat pocket after Savannah Buffett handed it to him, allowing Buffett's ashes to be present onstage during the induction. Jimmy Buffett died in September 2023 at age 76 from lymphoma. Tributes have included an April 2024 all-star concert featuring Paul McCartney, Eagles, and Zac Brown, continued touring by the Coral Reef Band, and a homage from The What podcast.
