Heavenly Announce 2026 European and North American Tour
"Heavenly-the UK indie-pop group that was active from 1989 to 1996- reunited back in 2022 and, shortly afterwards, played a few shows in their homeland. Now, Amelia Fletcher, Rob Pursey, and the rest of the band have announced a 2026 North American and European tour tied to a new record that's in the works. The run begins on February 25 in Coventry, England, and is slated to end on June 28 in Vancouver, British Columbia."
"As Brooklyn Vegan points out, Heavenly's 2026 tour is in support of their upcoming reunion album, the details of which have not yet been specified beyond a February release. It will be the band's first album in nearly 30 years, following 1996's Operation Heavenly, which they reissued this past July via their own label Skep Wax."
"In 2022, Heavenly announced plans to roll out vinyl reissues of all four of their studio albums: their 1991 debut Heavenly vs. Satan, 1992's follow-up Le Jardin de Heavenly, 1994's The Decline and Fall of Heavenly, and finally 1996's Operation Heavenly. That year of their final album, the band abruptly ended following the sudden death of drummer Mathew Fletcher. In 2020, Heavenly released the collection A Bout De Heavenly: The Singles."
