Edgar Barrera moves between northern Mexico and Los Angeles writing for artists such as Fuerza Regida and Carin León while preparing for Grammy Week. He grew up between Roma, Texas and Miguel Alemán, Mexico, and trained in Miami to compose across pop, urban, reggaeton, bachata and vallenato. He has played a key role in shaping música Mexicana alongside Grupo Frontera, Peso Pluma, Neton Vega and Fuerza Regida. His song "7-3" with Peso Pluma and Tito Double P reached Spotify's Top Global 50. He has 84 Latin Grammy nominations, 29 wins, and three consecutive Grammy songwriter of the year nominations, and remains the only Spanish-language composer recognized in that Grammy category.
