Diplo and Shelly Auguste have reached a "resolution in principle" to settle their ongoing legal battle, with details still pending from their attorneys.
Auguste alleged that she met Diplo online in 2014 at the age of 17, while he was in his mid-thirties. Her legal actions began in 2020.
The legal entanglement included mutual restraining orders and allegations of harassment, leading to a $1.2 million arbitration award for Diplo after Auguste breached their agreement.
In June 2021, Auguste accused Diplo of sexually assaulting her while she was intoxicated, which Diplo publicly denied.
