Cold War Kids on the Creativity of U2's From the Sky Down
Briefly

I just love that, the idea of 'we didn't really have songs then.' It's like, what are you talking about? You were a stadium band playing 'With or Without You,' you're not considering that a song? But I love it. It's so weird to say, but I think it was true for them.
They spend more time getting into the ways From the Sky Down captures the experience of playing in a band, the surprises that came from watching it, and how it reminded Maust of why he got into music in the first place.
