U2 have released Days of Ash, their first new music since 2017, a six-song politically charged EP. The opening track, American Obituary, centres on Renee Good, a mother of three killed on 7 January while protesting ICE activity in Minneapolis, and includes stark lyrics and hard rock instrumentation.
