During the creation of the new Everything Is Recorded album, Richard Russell asked Bill Callahan who he would like to write a song for; Callahan's answer was Noah Cyrus.
'Porcupine Tattoo' features Callahan's vocal demo paired with Noah Cyrus's toplines, recorded at the iconic Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
A 7-inch single featuring 'Porcupine Tattoo' along with another collaboration, 'Norm', a tribute to Norm Macdonald, is set to release from XL and Drag City.
