"This year's Super Bowl in Santa Clara is bringing not only thousands of football fans to the Bay Area but also a busy schedule of cultural events to keep them occupied before the Big Game, as its called by the copyright-averse. Although Bad Bunny's halftime show has earned the lion's share of attention, there's several other big name concerts that have been announced in recent weeks."
"Organized by On Location, the official hospitality provider of the NFL, the most recent addition to the lineup is stalwart radio rockers the Killers. They are scheduled to perform on Super Bowl's Eve, Saturday Feb. 7, at the Palace of Fine Arts. VIP packages for the event - the only ticket options listed - start at $950 for an access pass that includes perks such as food and beverage stations and appearances by NFL legends, with an upgraded mezzanine option available for $2,250."
"The Killers, best known for their ubiquitous radio hit "Mr. Brightside," are no strangers to the Bay Area. At a performance at Chase Center in 2022, the band reminisced about recording its debut album "Hot Fuss" in Berkeley and recalled how they would travel across the bay to Popscene club nights during that period. The band later performed at Outside Lands in 2024, acting like very upstanding rock stars when a fan in the audience needed medical assistance."
