Alison Krauss & Union Station announce new album Arcadia
Briefly

Alison Krauss & Union Station have announced their upcoming album 'Arcadia', their first in 14 years, set to be released on March 28th. The album includes 10 songs, featuring the lead single 'Looks Like the End of the Road', which marks the band's reunion. Self-produced by the band, the project involves collaborations with various songwriters. Krauss emphasized the themes of human existence and historic storytelling in the music, calling it her privilege to convey these tales, revealing deep emotional connections to past experiences and memories.
The stories of the past are told in this music. It's that whole idea of 'in the good old days when times were bad.' There's so much bravery and valor and loyalty and dreaming, of family and themes of human existence that were told in a certain way when our grandparents were alive.
I have to. It's a calling. I feel privileged to be a messenger of somebody else's story. And I want to hear what happened.
That song was 'Looks Like the End of the Road.' Jeremy Lister wrote it, and it just felt so alive - and as always, I could hear the guys already playing it.
Arcadia will span 10 new songs, including the lead single, 'Looks Like the End of the Road,' which arrived today.
