Alabama Shakes Announce First Tour Since 2017
Briefly

Alabama Shakes will embark on their first tour since 2017, following a surprise reunion in December. The tour, set for summer, includes support from artists like Sam Evian and Lee Fields. Frontwoman Brittany Howard expressed her excitement about reuniting with bandmates, emphasizing both nostalgia for past hits and anticipation for new music. With their last album released in 2015, Alabama Shakes promises fans a mix of beloved songs and new material, produced by Shawn Everett, aiming for a refreshing experience that honors their legacy while looking to the future.
In a press statement, Brittany Howard said: 'Last year, Heath, Zac, and I started chatting about how much fun it would be to make music together and tour again as Alabama Shakes.'
'It is crazy that it has been 10 years since we released Sound & Color and eight years since we played a show. But, we didn't want this to entirely be a look back. We wanted it to be as much about the future as the past.'
Brittany Howard expressed excitement about the new music they have created: 'We just can't wait to experience that 'feeling' when we start playing those first few notes of 'Don't Wanna Fight' or 'Gimme All Your Love.'
