'Ciao Ciao Bambino' came to me one night when I was thinking about the first words I ever heard. It was a song called 'Ciao Ciao Bambino' that my mum used to sing to me when I was a baby. The song then kinda evolved from there and became a journey through time.
This song is purely about self-discovery and letting yourself have fun even in the midst of uncertaint. I wrote it during a time of confusion in my early 20s. I was very inspired by the jangle-pop nature of The Sundays, which is a band that inspires a lot of my songwriting.
