Lainey Wilson will solo-host the CMA Awards on ABC and is tied for the most nominations with six, including Entertainer of the Year. Wilson made her CMA hosting debut last year with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning and becomes the third woman to host solo after Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire. Other Entertainer of the Year nominees include Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen. Megan Moroney and Ella Langley also earned six nominations. Langley and Riley Green won Musical Event of the Year in 2024 for "You Look Like You Love Me", which is nominated again for Single and Song of the Year. Langley is nominated for New Artist of the Year alongside Shaboozey, Zach Top, Stephen Wilson Jr. and Tucker Wetmore.
