'Unrelenting' is a very good title for the latest single from metallic screamo band Infant Island's anticipated new album Obsidian Wreath.
Here's the first single, 'Secret World,' which singer Tessa Murray says 'Sometimes the thought of someone, wanting to know them, get into their world is dangerous. The real person doesn't matter anymore, just the fantasy of them, which is totally wrong but feels right.'
'Kiss of Death' is about returning to the world of the living, scarred but with the insight of how close death is. Loss is a scar. We should carry it with us; not as a threat but as a promise of making the most of the time we're here.
