The OnePlus 13T will be the first model from the company to eliminate the traditional Alert Slider in exchange for a customizable smart button. This change is intended to provide users with more personalized control, as suggested by OnePlus fans. The new button will allow for switching between modes like Silent/Vibration/Ringing and will introduce unique features still to be announced. Additionally, the device is speculated to have a smaller 6.3" display and a robust 6,000mAh battery, set to be revealed soon without a specific launch date confirmed.
Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, shared this image and says that "the OnePlus 13T has been upgraded with a new shortcut key." It will support switching between Silent/Vibration/Ringing modes just like the slider, it will also offer easy access to other features. OnePlus has designed "a very interesting function" for the button, which will be revealed soon.
When surveying fans of small phones, OnePlus found that they like flat screens - and so the OnePlus 13T will have a small screen. The exact dimensions haven't been officially confirmed, but rumors claim that the 13T will have a 6.3" display.
What Li Jie did confirm was that the OnePlus 13T will have a battery with at least 6,000mAh capacity and will weigh 185g. This battery is as big - if not bigger - than the 6,000mAh power cell inside the 6.82" OnePlus 13 (which weighs 210g).
