Samsung is reportedly developing a tri-fold smartphone, targeting to rival Huawei's Mate XT, with an expected limited production of only around 200,000 units.
Initially anticipated to produce less than 300,000 units, Samsung's tri-fold smartphone production has now been reduced to approximately 200,000 units due to complex manufacturing.
Details show that the Samsung tri-fold device will boast a nearly 10" screen when unfolded, although the design remains pending finalization.
Samsung is aiming to sell around 7 million foldable devices this year, including the new tri-fold model amid slow sales for existing models.
