Samsung launches a 60W charger in preparation for the Galaxy S26 Ultra
"It's called simply the Samsung 60W Power Adapter (model number: EP-T6010NBEGWW) and it has appeared on the Samsung.com branches for various countries - all around Europe (e.g. Austria, Sweden, Romania), but also South America ( Peru) and parts of the Middle East ( Levant). The charger has one USB-C port and supports Super Fast Charging 2.0. It boasts a low standby power draw of just 5mW. It supports the following standards: USB-PD (5V, 15V, 20V) and PPS (5-20V) at up to 3A. There is no AVS support, however."
"Anyway, Samsung advertises that you can use its new 60W charger for phones, but also for Galaxy tablets and for Galaxy Book laptops. Now, no current Galaxy tablet supports faster than 45W charging - maybe the Tab S12 series will change that. Galaxy Books do feature 65W charging, though. For safety, the charger supports temperature protection, overcurrent protection and short circuit protection. Also, it is designed for low (electrical) noise operation."
"In Europe, the Samsung 60W Power Adapter is priced at €53. It is available only in black. PS. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will have faster wireless charging too, going up to 25W (up from 15W for the S25 Ultra). The S26 and S26+ are supposed to support 20W wireless charging. The wired charging situation for the vanilla S26 flagship is not rosy, though."
Samsung released the Samsung 60W Power Adapter (EP-T6010NBEGWW), appearing on regional Samsung.com sites across Europe, South America, and parts of the Middle East. The single-port USB-C charger supports Super Fast Charging 2.0, USB-PD (5V, 15V, 20V) and PPS (5–20V) at up to 3A, with a low 5mW standby draw and no AVS support. The adapter surpasses the older 45W model by enabling higher power delivery. Samsung markets the adapter for phones, tablets, and Galaxy Book laptops. The adapter includes temperature, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection, is designed for low electrical noise, and is priced at €53 in Europe.
