Samsung Galaxy M17e is coming, likely a rebrand of a surprising device
"The Google Play Console's Supported Devices list has a surprise for us today - the Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G. This is obviously coming soon, since it's been added to this list, and like all of the M-series devices, it's a rebranded A-series model. But which exact one may surprise you. It is in fact a rebranded A07 5G. Even the model number sort of confirms this, as it's SM-M076B. The codename adds further proof: "a07x"."
"It is in fact a rebranded A07 5G. Even the model number sort of confirms this, as it's SM-M076B. The codename adds further proof: "a07x". Nothing else is known about the M17e at the moment, but the Galaxy A07 5G is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM, so we wouldn't be at all surprised if the same is the case for the M17e as well. It should launch running Android 16 of course."
The Google Play Console supported devices list now includes the Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G, indicating an imminent release. The M17e is a rebranded Galaxy A-series phone identified as the A07 5G through model SM-M076B and codename "a07x". The Galaxy A07 5G uses MediaTek's Dimensity 6300 chipset and ships with configurations including 8GB of RAM. The M17e is therefore likely to share the same SoC and memory configuration. The device is expected to launch running Android 16. No additional hardware, pricing, or launch date information is available yet.
