The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will not receive an upgraded 200MP camera sensor, using the same ISOCELL HP2 1/1.3" sensor as the S23 Ultra. There will, however, be an improvement with a wider f/1.4 aperture lens which allows 47% more light compared to the previous model's f/1.7 lens. Samsung is also considering reintroducing a dual aperture system akin to the Galaxy S10 series. Expected features include Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, One UI 8.5, a larger screen, enhanced battery, faster charging, and camera upgrades including a new telephoto module.
Ice Universe indicates that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will retain the ISOCELL HP2 1/1.3" sensor from the S23 Ultra, ruling out a new 1.1" 200MP Sony sensor.
