Family denied retention of mobile home at area of national importance

During the Covid-19 pandemic, a family built a mobile home near their sick grandfather in west Cork, attempting to provide support and companionship.

The family erected their mobile home in a picturesque area of west Cork in Scobaun, Castletownshend, but faced rejection from An Bord Pleanála seeking retention permission.
