The vivo X200 Ultra is set to be unveiled next month and boasts an impressive camera setup, including a 200MP periscope module that allows for enhanced photography. The device, collaborating with Fujifilm for camera modifications, features a significant upgrade in light capture compared to its predecessor. Additionally, it includes a 50MP main camera and a 35mm equivalent ultrawide lens, both backed by Sony technology. However, it will be exclusive to China, missing out on a global launch and following a trend of other flagship phones in the region being limited to the local market.
We already have the sensors for the X200 Ultra and vivo confirmed it will partner with Fujifilm for additional tweaks.
The X200 Ultra's periscope camera is confirmed to bring an 85mm equivalent focal range, capturing 38% more light than its predecessor.
The X200 Ultra is not expected to get a global launch and will be one of the growing number of China-exclusive Ultra flagships.
The ultrawide sensor is expected to come in at 1/1.28", which is noticeably larger in size compared to the industry average.
