AOL gives website a mobile-friendly makeover
Briefly

"deliver relevant content dynamically 24/7 across screens, adding value to the always-on nature of today's digital consumer."
"Content is infinite but time is not. The key is to deliver what is most relevant, interesting and personalized to people throughout their day,"
The updated site was designed to better serve visitors across devices, particularly smartphones. Mobile users make up 38 percent of the website's traffic and the mobile audience has grown nearly 80 percent since last June. The redesign adds a fresh layout and will deliver news and content based on real-time audience insights. The site will dynamically surface relevant, interesting and personalized content around the clock across screens. Maureen Sullivan, president of AOL.com, emphasized delivering value to always-on digital consumers. Verizon's $4.4 billion acquisition of AOL marked a major telco investment into the ad tech space.
