Briefly

On Friday night, thousands of fans gathered outside a makeshift boxing arena in Times Square, eagerly awaiting the fight between Teofimo Lopez and Arnold Barboza Jr. Limited to a few hundred guests, the event featured VIPs, media, and fighter teams. The unique setting was organized by Turki al-Sheikh for Ring Magazine's inaugural US boxing card. Lopez defended his title with a unanimous decision after an electrifying 12 rounds, expressing a sense of renewal and confidence following his victory, saying, "I felt great. I felt reborn."
Lopez, a native of Brooklyn's Bushwick neighborhood, retained his title with a 12-round unanimous decision. "I've been telling myself this whole week that anything happening is happening for me and not against me," Lopez said. "I felt great. I felt reborn."
Turki al-Sheikh, the head of Riyadh Season and the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, wanted something unique for Ring Magazine's first boxing card in the US after purchasing it last year.
