Evloev experienced severe symptoms and fatigue that made even light exercise difficult, prompting him to pull out. Lerone Murphy replaced Evloev on short notice and knocked out Pico with a spinning back elbow, a result Alexander Volkanovski suggested could advance Murphy in the title race. Both Evloev and Murphy were later sidelined while Diego Lopes challenged Volkanovski at UFC 325. Evloev and Murphy are now booked to fight in a potential title eliminator at UFC London on March 31.
