San Francisco police responded to reports of a man wielding a knife and making threats inside an affordable senior housing building in the Mission District. Crisis negotiation and drone usage were part of the response.
Dozens of police and fire vehicles cordoned off the area, attempting to bring about a peaceful resolution with the man making threats. Seniors evacuated the building, some waiting nearby.
