The 16th Mission open mic event has been a cornerstone of artistic expression in San Francisco for nearly two decades. Set against the backdrop of the southwest street corner near the BART station, it provides a welcoming platform for poets, musicians, emcees, comedians, and more. Regardless of language or form, everyone is invited to share their creativity every Thursday night, fostering a vibrant community atmosphere. The event is absolutely free and aims to encourage local participation while celebrating its upcoming 20-year milestone in May 2023.
