Adam Simpson, development and project management director at L&Q, expressed optimism about the project's revival, stating, "We are very pleased to get works up and running at 5 Spruce Hills Road. Our sector has faced many challenges lately, including supply chain failures that have made it harder to build. Our size and financial stability meant we were able to step in and take over works at this site."
Councillor Ahsan Khan articulated the importance of the project by saying, "After previous setbacks with contracts falling through, it is a relief to see this vital development now moving forward. We know that the demand for housing is at an all-time high, and with our local efforts, we aim to address this pressing issue effectively."
