Initially tasked to assist with the jet ski incident in Dun Laoghaire, the Coast Guard received reports about a person who had fallen 40ft from the cliffs and sustained multiple serious injuries. The National Ambulance Service and a volunteer doctor were involved in the rescue effort, where the casualty was winched to safety by a helicopter and subsequently taken to Weston Airport for hospital transport.
