"I will direct our government to use the full and immense power of federal and state law enforcement to eliminate the presence of all foreign gangs and criminal networks bringing devastating crime to U.S. soil, including our cities and inner cities," he said in his inaugural address.
"My family has been subjected to unrelenting attacks and threats, motivated solely by a desire to hurt me - the worst kind of partisan politics," he said in a statement.
The president is expected to take many executive actions in the coming days. Some that will affect federal employees include freezing government hiring... curtailing remote and hybrid work flexibility for government workers..."
Trump also proposed creating a new agency, the External Revenue Service, which he first suggested last week, would be responsible for collecting tariffs.
