Briefly

The ascent was steep right from the beginning, climbing 3,700 feet in just four miles to reach Col Termin. The air was thin and the views breathtaking.

Crossing the Corbassière Footbridge was thrilling. Although the bridge is sturdy, its height adds a pulse of adrenaline, reminding me of the retreating glacier's history.
