'We will deliver right up until Christmas Eve': Massive efforts to clear Holyhead parcel backlog overnight
Briefly

"It's all moving now. We received over 350,000 parcels overnight which we are currently sorting. About 150,000 parcels remained in Holyhead and they are now being rerouted around the UK. But this is not a problem for us. We have all our staff, our automated facilities, our casual employees for this time of year. It won't be a problem and we will deliver it all right up to Christmas Eve."
"An Post this morning said it has the 'facilities, technology and staff' across its hubs to deliver the parcels to homes and businesses around Ireland. Managing Director Garrett Bridgeman expressed confidence that parcels ordered before the storm will arrive on time for Christmas."
