The Hornsey Town Hall development, a crucial cultural space in Haringey, has faced delays, frustrating residents and local leaders. The council is focused on securing community benefits, including affordable housing and restoring cultural usage, aiming to meet these goals by 2027. A meeting with Hornsey Town Hall Trust has occurred to evaluate proposals by Far East Consortium for activating the cultural dimension of the space. The council emphasizes that any speculation about the sale of the development is unfounded, while ongoing communication with the community remains imperative for transparency.
We want to maximise the community benefits that we know residents are looking forward to and ensure the partners live up to the commitments previously made.
Securing council homes for our residents remains one of our top priorities and we celebrated a major milestone when the new homes on this site were completed.
