'We didn't get to the level we hoped for' - Garry Ringrose takes tough defeat to New Zealand on the chin
Briefly

The battle scars are plastered all over his body - the dried blood on his legs bearing the hallmarks of a tough Test match that Ireland very much came off second best in.
Ringrose was also on the end of a high tackle from his soon-to-be Leinster centre partner Jordie Barrett, who copped a yellow card for the offence, but there are no hard feelings on his part.
It's probably more mentally tough, losing at home. It's not something you ever want to do. It's disappointing but I guess the challenge is now to dust ourselves off and get right for what is a massive three Tests ahead of us.
You want to test yourselves in every possible scenario, getting challenged by the opposition. We would have credited the bibs this week in how well they tested us and prepped us.
