Volunteers from Harrow Chiropractic took part in a unique Christmas challenge called 'rucking' to deliver 276 festive food items to London's Community Kitchen. Carrying donations on their backs, they completed a 30-minute walk, showcasing teamwork and community spirit in supporting a charity that turns contributions into hot meals and teaches cooking.
Lead chiropractic assistant Charlotte Tubb expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating that the 276 food items were "gratefully received" by the community kitchen, highlighting the impact of their contribution. She noted that everyone involved enjoyed the experience and hoped to make it an annual event.
Ms Tubb indicated the need for increased awareness of the challenge, noting that with more food donations, they could have carried even more, emphasizing the potential for future events to be larger and more impactful if more volunteers step forward.
